Smt. Mitaji Kotecha

Pro-vice Chancellor, National Institute of Ayurveda

Vaidya Mita Kotecha is an accomplished professional with a distinguished career in Ayurvedic medicine. She is currently serving as the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of U.G. Studies at the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur. Dr. Kotecha possesses an impressive educational background, including BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), and a Ph.D. in Ayurveda.

With a wealth of experience, Dr. Kotecha has served as a guide for 35 M.D. and 9 Ph.D. scholars. Additionally, Dr. Kotecha is actively engaged in ongoing research, guiding the work of scholars pursuing advanced degrees in Ayurvedic studies. A prolific author, Dr. Kotecha has published three books and contributed 94 peer-reviewed research papers.

Beyond academic accomplishments, Dr. Kotecha’s notable achievements extend to her role in establishing institutional infrastructure, managing projects, and promoting research in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. As a chairperson and member of various committees related to AYUSH, Dr. Kotecha plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ayurvedic education and research.
