Dr David Winston

Herbalist and Alchemist

Dr. David is a renowned Herbalist and Ethnobotanist with 54 years of expertise in Chinese, Western, and Southeastern herbal traditions. He boasts 47 years of clinical practice and serves as an herbal consultant to professionals in the USA, Europe, and Canada. David is the founder/director of the Herbal Therapeutics Research Library and the dean of David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies, offering a two-year program in clinical herbal medicine.

An international lecturer, Dr. David frequently addresses medical schools, symposia, and herb conferences. As the president of Herbalist and Alchemist, Inc., he creates herbal products that blend global traditions. He is also a founding member of the American Herbalist Guild and serves on advisory boards for the American Botanical Council and the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia. With numerous publications and awards, David has been a prominent educator in herbal medicine for over 50 years.
